Business Intelligence Analyst (Hybrid)

Job description

This position improves NDC operations by gathering and analyzing data, pulling together appropriate teams to define solutions and key metrics, clearly documenting requirements and ensuring successful implementation of changes. 


Essential functions of the role include the following:

  • Identify data leakage and other opportunities through analytics.
  • Provide visibility through reports to further improve business processes.
    • Develop new reports for business to drive improvements.
    • Update and enhance existing reports.
  • Develop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes across NDC functions.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders at all levels in the organization to understand and document critical business requirements.
  • Identify key performance indicators with operational definitions to support business focus and results.
  • Support data retrieval and analysis as we build out our data warehouse and business intelligence reporting.
  • Ensure appropriate end-to-end User Acceptance Testing for any system or process changes and accountable for successful outcomes.
  • All employees are expected to protect the confidentiality of patient health information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Note: This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, with just 2 days per week in our HQ office near BNA, giving you the best of both worlds – the opportunity to collaborate in person and enjoy the flexibility of remote work!

Job requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1-3 years relevant business experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding or prioritization, budgeting procedures, evaluations criteria and resource planning.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and pull ideas from a group.
  • Excel, Access and SQL expertise
  • Report writing and data analysis
